Reiki Training & Certification
Reiki is a process of evolving our consciousness to allow what is possible. It is expansion and the ability to align with high vibrational energy. How we build our foundation allows us to move forward with grace and ease. Reiki energy is our capacity to love.
What is Reiki?
Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy."
Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. Many have reported miraculous results.
Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.
An amazingly simple technique to learn, the ability to use Reiki is not taught in the usual sense. Traditionally it is believed that it is transferred to the student during a Reiki class, however in my experience during the class and attunement process, the student reconnects with this innate ability to channel Universal Life Force for personal and collective healing. In the attunement process, the student is working with their guides, ancestors, Reiki guides and Higher Self and it is through this connection that awakening to this ability is passed on during the "attunement". The Reiki Teacher Master is merely facilitating the process by setting the container for the download of information.
Its use is not dependent on one's intellectual capacity or spiritual development and therefore is available to everyone. It has been successfully taught to thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds.
While Reiki is spiritual in nature, it is not a religion. It has no dogma, and there is nothing you must believe in order to learn and use Reiki. In fact, Reiki is not dependent on belief at all and will work whether you believe in it or not. Because Reiki comes from God, many people find that using Reiki puts them more in touch with the experience of their religion rather than having only an intellectual concept of it.
While Reiki is not a religion, it is still important to live and act in a way that promotes harmony with others. Mikao Usui, the founder of the Reiki system of natural healing, recommended that one practice certain simple ethical ideals to promote peace and harmony, which are nearly universal across all cultures.
Reiki ~ RAY-kee ~ means “the movement of Universal Life Force Energy”
Qualities: Protective, Healing, Restorative, Strengthening, Uplifting and Sustainable.
~Reiki as a healing modality connects the practitioner directly to Source Energy and therefore has no draining effects. This is very unique!
Levels of Reiki ~ There are four levels of Reiki in the Ususi/Tibetan tradition. You begin with Reiki I. This is required to then move on to Reiki II. Reiki II is required to move on to ART (Advanced Reiki Training-or Level III), and that is necessary to move on to Reiki Teacher Master.
It is traditional to find a teacher you connect with and remain with them until your training is complete. As you progress you will feel and experience the power of Reiki in your own life. This is the best teacher of all. As you develop your practice, whether personal or with others you will have these experiences to draw from and share with others.
Reiki has taught me how to teach and share it with others, just as it will teach you how to facilitate for yourself and others. The attunement process in the way that I teach has already begun. As we go through the information and meditate on the energy the attunement is in process. At the end of our time together you will do a deep relaxation and this is where the final sealing of the attunement process is complete. It is my belief that I’m not the one doing the attunement but instead the Reiki itself, or Life Force energy that does the attunement process.
As your guide, I make a promise to hold Sacred Space for the transmission of the teachings of Usui Reiki. In this container, we will practice unconditional love, respect for ourselves and each other, honor all paths and perspectives without judgment, and gratitude for God/Spirit/Great Mystery/Allah/Buddha/Jesus. ~And it is iso.
* Special Note: It is not advisable to begin a professional Reiki practice after completing Reiki I training only. I suggest completing Reiki II and having at least 1 year of practice with friends, family and loved ones before offering it in a professional setting.

Inner Guide Reiki Master Teacher Program 2022
This program is designed to fully prepare the apprentice to facilitate and guide students through all levels of Reiki Attunement. This is a completely different perspective in the Reiki Journey. At this point, you are not only offering Reiki as a healing modality but you are able to guide others to find this healing power within themselves. I have given a great deal of thought to how this program is designed to set each and everyone person that completes it up to feel fully prepared to take on this responsibility with confidence.
I will be making a new FB Group that is specific to those going through this training. We will have once a month calls for those moving on to Reiki Teacher Master to discuss and go over content specific to this process.
Program Outline
Program Length: 1 year
Registration Deadline: December 21st - please plan to submit your proposal by no later than 5pm on December 21st - I will respond ASAP
Program Requirements:
Submit Inner Guide Reiki Teacher Master Proposal (requirements for proposal outlined below)
Co-facilitate no less than 4 Reiki Trainings w/ Audrey - 1 Reiki I, 1 Reiki 2, 1 Master Reiki & 1 Master Teacher Attunement w/ Audrey - this is important for students to learn how to facilitate training and have the exposure as well as bring their own experience and voice to these trainings.
Schedule no less than 6 Private Reiki Sessions with Audrey throughout the year - you should be getting regular private Reiki Sessions as you will be accelerating your own personal growth which will support your ability to hold safe and sacred space for others. These can be done in person or via zoom.
Schedule and attend no less than 6 1v1’s with Audrey throughout the year - these meetings will allow us to connect and discuss your progress as it pertains to preparing for your attunement. These can be done in person or via zoom.
Document in your journal no less than 25 hrs of formal Reiki facilitation. This can include distance reiki, animal reiki, reiki on friends and family, seeing Reiki Clients, or holding Reiki shares.
Attend monthly Inner Guide Apprenticeship Calls when able
Attend Inner Guide Reiki Teacher Master Calls monthly (required)
Apprentices in this training will be required to organize a Reiki Trade no less than 6 times during 2022 - this can be in person or via zoom at no charge to participants.
All requirements must be completed by the time the Apprentice has their final Inner Guide Reiki Teacher Master Attunement.

Proposal Requirements
This program will begin formally on January 1st, 2022 until December 31st, 2022. For those that feel called to become Master Teacher Attuned please write a proposal that will clearly outline a self-assessment of where you are at currently in your Reiki journey and how you see your Reiki Journey moving forward within the context of this Master Teacher Attuentment process.
It is NOT a requirement that you plan to see clients or hold trainings in the traditional way. However, it is very important that you have a clear vision of how you wish to incorporate Reiki and Reiki Attunements into your work. I would like to hear from you about what you have personally experienced as you have gone through your own Reiki Healing Journey. What results have you experienced in your own life? I would also like to hear what your intent is - what is your “Why?” for feeling called to go to the next level as a healing facilitator. How are you feeling called to hold a safe and sacred space for others?
Also, include in this proposal what your plan will be if/when you ever experience challenges with students/clients. As healers, we often find ourselves faced with witnessing others at their most vulnerable and also sometimes extremely distressed state. How we handle ourselves during these times is paramount to our ability to hold safe and sacred space unconditionally. It is also not uncommon for healers to be faced with clients/students experiencing things that hit very close to home and can be highly activating - how will you handle this if it occurs? What support do you have? What communication skills have you developed to help you in this kind of situation?
Finally, please include in this proposal what you feel are the most important personal practices needed to be successful as a guide for people along their Reiki Healing Journey? Include what you have learned so far about holding formal facilitation space.
